Here is a diagram how loop canopies are hung. Depending on how you want the chandalier to hang, with the bar hole canopy, you can use a 1/8ips rod instead of the loop
Right kit for a chain hung chandelier- I have something like this now and I can't figure out how to hang it 2-3/4in Bar Holes - Contemporary Starburst Canopy Kit - Antique Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish
I got a chain hung chandelier with a similar canopy from my mother but no screws. The top loop is in a 1/8 loop that can go through this hole. Do I need a hickey too. Are there 1/8 to 1/8 hickeys? I can't figure how to hold the fixture up while I connect the wires.
