Our 16in acrylic balls weigh 2.5lbs. This should be able to hold. Since it is a neck less ball you are looking at, the fitter size may allow you to use our neck less holders. For instance, SHACG16NLC has a 5-1/4in hole, sp a 5-1/4in neck less holder set like HONL05AB would work.
