Socket with 1/2" bushing? Leviton - Polished Brass 3-Way Turn Knob Socket with 1/4ips. Female Cap

Will the Leviton - Polished Brass 3-Way Turn xxxx Socket with 1/4ips. Female Cap be a suitable replacement for one with a bushing approximately 1/2" in diameter? These are older Stifel table lamps. The socket bushings I've found at the big box hardware stores are too small.

This lamp socket has a 1/4ips Thread. 1/4ips measures 1/2 inch outer diameter with a thread pitch of 18 threads per inch. /4ips thread is commonly used on floor lamps.
