A non-polarized, non grounded plug is perhaps the easiest of all plugs to wire up. There is no Hot/Neutral to worry about. So, simply strip your wires, Loop the wires (or use wire hooks) around the screw terminal so that when the screw is turned closed, the hook will tighten the wire closed, not force it open. And you're done. It doesn't matter which side you use on which terminal.
