This fixture uses CA50BL which is a 5in Diameter x 3/4in H Canopy; the fitter on the other hand is a HO3-14FBL which is designed to fit any 3-1/4 fitter shade. Please note, you can always see exactly which parts we use anytime by clicking the Parts Included tab on the fixture
