They are different manufacturers which would explain the difference. Unfortunately we do NOT sell the cover from the set by itself.
Can we buy the cover only w/o the insert? We have noticed that there is a significant difference in the cover. 5-1/4in Steel Neckless Ball Holder Set with Cover and Insert - Unfinished Steel
We have noticed that there is a significant difference in the cover when we purchase it as a stand alone component vs when we buy the kit with the cover and insert.
