1/8ips? Unfinished Brass Shell Uno Threaded E-26 Base Brass Pull Chain Socket
I recently purchased 2-Unfinished Brass Shell Uno Threaded E-26 Base Brass Pull Chain Sockets, they are beautiful quality, and product description says 1/8ips on the female cup thread, however, they will not thread very far before binding on the male lamp cluster threads. The one original I have threads all the way in with no issue, as do modern Levitons, so I'm certain that is the correct size. is it possible that this is M10 Metric and not 1/8ips? That is what is seems like, or are they just cut a little undersized? I don't want to ruin the threads on the cluster because it won't be possible to replace it.
