Not sure what you mean by finished. This is an acrylic hemisphere, Unlike natural materials like wood or fabric, acrylic, being a synthetic thermoplastic, does not fray or unravel. However, cutting acrylic sometimes leaves the edges with a rough, jagged appearance, which may not be desirable for certain applications.
As you can see from the picture the edges are smooth and not jagged.
