Hi! Does the height measurement of 16.5" include the fitter neck? And can you provide the height of just the neck?

I plan on using this shade in a chain pendant and need to figure out the height of the shade that's exposed beneath the socket cover in order to calculate the correct chain length. Many thanks!

The height of the shade is from edge to edge. The neck measures approximately 3/4in meaning the shade would measure approximately 15-3/4in without the neck.
