The so-called "long" stem isn't threaded all the way down, what size die should I use to fix it?
300W Max - 120V Rotary Dimmer Switch with Plastic Housing and 1in long shank
This dimmer's stem is technically long enough, but the threads for the retaining nuts aren't cut all the way down the stem, for some reason. I'll need a thread die to do this, but don't know exactly what size/pitch threads to cut, so the existing nuts will fit. It looks like it's maybe 7mm x 0.75mm metric, but I'm not sure.

You can use a
1/8ips Die to match the thread on top.
