Head of pin is approximately 2mm (0.079in) in diameter
Pin head size 2in. Brass Crystal Pin
I have purchased head pins in the past, but found out the pin head wasn't wide enough for the holes in the cut glass lamp crystals. Guessing years of wear and tear they have increased in size. The pin doesn't go through, though.
