BUC25FC40 40W Clear E-12 Base 25mm. Flame Tip Bulb

Hi- This item is listed as an E-12 base 25MM. I think that the E-12 is 12MM and I do not understand what the 25MM relates to. I am looking for the 12MM base or approximately 1/2 inch. Is that what this item is?

Please note, ALL E-12 bulbs have a 12mm diameter base as that is their very nature by classification.

E12 Candelabra – Edison 12-mm Diameter

The mm size notated in the description is the bulb diameter and NOT the base diameter.

In the case of this bulb it has a 1in outer Diameter or 25mm.
