This shade does have a lip, but is not a FITTER, and would not work inside a normal holder.
The term "neckless glass" refers to glass shades that don't have a narrow "neck" section, which is common in some types of shades designed to fit into fixtures with specific-sized fitters. However, even though the shade lacks this narrowing, it can still have a small lip around the edge for securing purposes.
