Generally for a table lamp we would recommend SPT type wire. Specifically SPT-1 or SPT-2
SPT-1 has the thinnest insulation thickness of 0.030in and is available in decorative fabric wrapped PVC, Transparent Colors, and Plain solid PVC colors.
SPT-2 has an insulation thickness of 0.045in and is UL approved for use as a power cord. It is available in decorative fabric wrapped PVC, Transparent Colors, and Plain solid PVC colors.
