This will be a tight squeeze, but it should fit. I was able to slowly get the wire through the nipple. You may need to loosen the twists.
Otherwise we HIGHLY recommend that you use our thin walled brass nipple which should even allow the SPT-2 twisted wire through.
The steel nipples generally have a seam inside which prevents wires from going through nicely, which is exactly why we made the thin walled brass nipples.
