I am making 3 17-20" ceramic "shades" They will probably weigh about 5-6 lb. Will I be able to use this?

I can make the hole in the pendant close to 1 5/8" I'm just worried about the weight. I really like this option because I HATE seeing the cord thread through chain in other pendant options
