The shaft length is approximately 1/4in without the knob.
With the knob attached it measures approximately 15/16in from socket to edge of the knob

FunctionalityThe switch operates in a four-position cycle:
- Position 1: All circuits are off. No connection is made between the common terminal and T1 or T2.
- Position 2: Circuit 1 is on. The common terminal connects to T1.
- Position 3: Circuit 2 is on. The common terminal connects to T2.
- Position 4: Both circuits are on. The common terminal connects to both T1 and T2.
