How many Amps can your SW585np switch handle from your website?
3 Position Nickel Plated Push Button Single Pole Switch with 3/8in. Bushing and Knurled Nut
Hello,
I have to replace several similar Kedu HY42D E200089 switches that are no longer available from Kedu within several Portable Work-Lights I own for home use.
The Kedu switch appears to be similar to your SW585np and is used to control On/Off power for a single 500W 120V Halogen bulb.
However, the replacement switch must handle a minimum 5 Amp of power in a high-heat environment, but your SW585np seems smaller and may only operate with a max of 3 Amp.
Can your SW585np switch consistently and accurately regulate 5 Amp, of power in a high-heat area and mounted on the back of a Portable Work-Light with a thermal plastic casing?
Otherwise, which Manufacturer/Model of a push-button switch similar to your SW585np and can handle 5 Amp of power and what are its physical dimensions?
Could you please send me product spec sheets of your sw585np and/or the similar SW585np that can easily and consistently handle 5 Amp input in a high-heat environment?
Regards, Steve Neago
