This item includes a 1/8ips coupling. The coupling screws onto the 1/4ips stem and reduces down to a 1/8ips female thread.
You would require a 1/4ips X 1/4ips coupling if you wanted to screw it onto a 1/4ips male thread - 1/4ips X 1/4 ips Necks
