Would it be possible for this holder to accommodate a 9” shade? 10in. Flush Double E-26 Socket Holder - Brass Plated Finish

I’ve found a vintage murano swirl flush mount shade that is a 9” fitter. Could a 10” fixture work with this? Maybe with longer screws to hold the shade?

Thank you for your question. We would not recommend using a 9in. fitter shade on this 10in. flush mount fixture. While it may be possible to modify the fixture with different hardware or longer screws, it was not designed for a 9in. fitter, and we cannot guarantee that the shade will mount securely or safely.

For the best fit and safest installation, we recommend using a fixture designed specifically for a 9in. fitter shade. If you can provide the dimensions or a photo of your Murano shade, we'd be happy to see if we have a more suitable option.
