No. Although the neck measures 5/8in in outside diameter, the threaded opening is 1/8ips female, which fits 1/8ips lamp pipe measuring approximately 3/8in outside diameter, not 5/8in pipe.
For a fitting that threads onto 5/8in outside diameter lamp pipe, you will need a component with 3/8ips threads.
