Thank you for your question! Once the socket is screwed together, it locks into place. To take the SO3001B apart, locate the small locking pin on the socket body. Push the pin down while unscrewing the threaded outer shell. This will release the lock and allow the socket to be unscrewed and taken apart.
When reassembling the socket, make sure the tab on the socket interior lines up with and fits into the corresponding slot in the outer shell.
