Thank you for your question. This is smooth hard brass tubing and can be cut to the desired length using an appropriate tool for cutting brass tubing.
We do not sell or test the RIDGID 40617 Model 101 cutter, so we cannot guarantee compatibility with that specific tool. We recommend confirming with the tool manufacturer that the cutter is suitable for the tubing material and outside diameter before use.
After cutting, the cut end may need to be deburrred and cleaned up before assembly.
