For this fixture, we recommend keeping the total shade weight to 5 lbs. or less.
This does not necessarily mean that the fixture cannot physically support more than 5 lbs. However, based on our general guidelines for single wire-hung pendant fixtures, 5 lbs. is the maximum weight we recommend for this type of application.
Because your glass shades are custom, we cannot provide or guarantee a higher weight capacity for your particular application. If the shade will weigh more than 5 lbs., we recommend using a suspension method specifically designed to support the additional weight.
