No, this switch (SKU: SWF01BL) is not specified for use with North American 18 AWG SPT-2 lamp cord.
Although the switch features screw-type terminals and accommodates flat or round cable, it is designed for the following European cable types:
- H03VVH2-F 2 x 0.75 mm²
- H03V2V2H2-F 2 x 0.75 mm² T90°C
- H03VV-F 2 x 0.75 mm²
We cannot confirm that 18 AWG SPT-2 cord will fit the cable openings and strain relief without modification. We do not recommend modifying the switch housing or strain relief to accommodate an unsupported cord.
For your application, we recommend selecting a switch specifically designed for North American SPT-2 lamp cord.
