This lamp socket (SKU: SO4156) uses screw terminals for connecting the electrical wires.
The individual wire conductors are connected directly to the screw terminals located on the bottom of the socket assembly, as shown in our product photos.
For standard polarized lamp wiring, the hot (smooth) conductor connects to the brass-colored terminal, while the neutral (ribbed) conductor connects to the silver-colored terminal.
Be sure to disconnect all power before wiring and provide appropriate cord strain relief to prevent tension on the electrical connections.
