Thank you for your question!
At Grand Brass Lamp Parts, we do our best to ensure that our product photographs accurately represent the items you will receive. We strive to provide clear, detailed images so you can make an informed purchasing decision.
This 18/3 SVT-B Metallic Silver Nylon Fabric Cloth Covered Wire (SKU: WI183SVTPOULMS) features a woven nylon fabric covering in a color designated as Metallic Silver by the material supplier.
While the fabric has a silver-colored appearance, whether it looks like "realistic" metallic silver is largely a matter of personal preference. It is important to understand that this is fabric-covered electrical wire, not an actual metal finish, so its appearance and texture will differ from polished or plated silver metal.
We recommend using our product photographs as a visual reference. However, colors and finishes may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings, lighting conditions, and surrounding materials.
Since this wire is sold by the foot at just $1.05 per foot, we recommend purchasing a foot or two to see the color and finish in person. This is an inexpensive way to determine whether the metallic silver appearance meets your expectations before ordering a larger quantity for your project.
