The Full Range Table Lamp Dimmer Switch (SKU: SA-80-1293) is a two-wire inline dimmer designed to control the hot (line) conductor of a lamp circuit.
The two black wires are not designated as hot and neutral. In a typical inline dimmer installation, one lead connects to the incoming hot conductor and the other connects to the outgoing hot conductor supplying the lamp socket. The neutral conductor bypasses the dimmer.
Please note: Dimmers are not returnable.
