Regarding our E-26 Cathedral Ceiling Fixture with 2-1/4in Fitter (SKU: FXC200), please see the information below:
- Sloped Ceilings: This fixture is designed for cathedral and sloped ceiling applications. However, the ability to hang vertically will depend on the ceiling angle and installation configuration. We cannot guarantee compatibility with every ceiling slope.
- Glass Shade Weight: Due to the number of variables involved in any given lighting project, we do not provide weight ratings online. For heavier antique glass shades, we recommend contacting Sales@grandbrass.com with photographs, dimensions, and the approximate weight of your glass. Our team may be better able to assist you in evaluating your application.
- Maximum Bulb Wattage: This fixture uses a single E-26 medium-base socket. The maximum permitted wattage is generally 60W. Please verify the wattage rating marked on the fixture before installation.
- Dimmer Compatibility: Dimming may be possible depending on the bulb and dimmer selected. For LED bulbs, we generally recommend using a compatible trailing-edge (ELV) dimmer. You can view our trailing-edge dimmer options here. Compatibility cannot be guaranteed, and please note that dimmers are non-returnable.
Important: Since you are working with valuable, heavy antique glass shades, we recommend confirming the shade's fitter dimensions and mounting requirements before purchasing. This fixture uses a 2-1/4in fitter, which must be appropriate for your particular glass shade.
