The wire has an outside diameter of approximately 0.265", while standard 1/8ips pipe has an approximate inside diameter of 0.285", making for a very tight fit. If you require the 1/8ips pipe, we generally recommend using our 1/8ips Thin Wall Nipples, which have an approximate inside diameter of 0.30" to provide additional clearance for the wire.
